Hello, I'm using an Asus Z8PE-D12 motherboard with an Intel Xeon X5670 processor, 32GB RAM, a Seagate FireCuda 1TB SSD, and I found a BIOS update for this model. It requires running in Dos mode. I used Rufus to create a bootable USB drive and placed my AFUDOS.exe and the .ROM file on it. After changing the boot order, it started up in Dos and I ran the command `afudos /iZ8PE.ROM`. The system reported an "Error Out of memory" message because the USB drive is only 16GB. I'm unsure if I made a mistake. Additionally, I recently installed Windows 10 Pro on x64 on this setup, but the download speed is very slow—around 200kb/s, while my other PC reached over 8.9MB/s. The driver installation seems to be taking a long time, sometimes over 20 minutes. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello from the future, I faced the same problem on this same motherboard. For those interested, the best fix was changing from a FreeDos bootable drive to a MSDOS one. Once done, the error disappeared and the BIOS updated automatically. The software used to create the bootable USB is Rufus. On the download page for motherboard bios, there’s a functional version of afudos included (though older versions may not work). The afudos from other sources still function with that final BIOS (version 1401), which comes with an additional tool.
