Based on the documentation, there may be incomplete information. Between the lines, discussions about lane sharing appear on boards. The facts suggest GPU-Z shows 8x performance on one board and 16x on another, though it's unclear what drives the operating system. Additionally, fewer PCI-e lanes are available on smaller boards. They might reveal more details if they choose to.

The system currently includes only the 4TB P3 Plus and 6800XT, along with an AX210 E KEY Wi-Fi card.

I have another PC using the same motherboard but with different components like a 5600, AX200 and 6750XT, running at x16. Am I missing something? Is there anyone who can assist me? What type of NVMe drive is installed in this system, or is it a SATA SSD?

It should be straightforward, switch to a different X16 GPU. If it works at X8, it means the motherboard is the issue. Test the 6800xt on another board; if it runs at X8, then it's the card. It seems this problem required a lot of thought.

can't see the parts the 2nd build does not mention what drive the OS is hosted he could see that
there's no need to swap parts or move things just look do I have to say 'don't touch anything' it's their computer

In addition to the fact that checking the performance gap between PCI-E 4.0 16x and 8x on this GPU is almost insignificant, it only reflects in a single metric on a very minor, practically unimportant test. The PC is functioning properly, and there are no major issues—just that certain paper specs don’t match what we expect. This situation is unusual and warrants further examination.

other options include loading the same game across different systems and checking for discrepancies, assuming you understand how to configure RTSS, which might add an additional learning phase.
