every time i use the volume control either on the headset or keyboard it closes the game into the task bar, isn't there something I'm missing? it's really annoying!

What operating system are you using? Have you removed your iCue application and then reinstalled it from the most recent version available on Corsair's website, ensuring to run the installation with administrative privileges?

attempted using DDI but it appears to be causing me to exit full screen mode when I change the volume.

adjusting the volume causes it to switch to windowed mode, which is the issue
