Question"Undervolting" rx 580
Because of some unexpected issues, I now have just one working BIOS on my card, a "gaming" version. I think the card attempting to operate at these settings is producing strange sounds in the PC, as my other parts don’t match it. I’m considering lowering the voltage and reverting to the BIOS settings from when I first installed it (1135 default clock speed and 2100 memory), which worked fine for me. Can I do that? I’m not very familiar with this process.

If your other parts don<|pad|>, you might want to share the details of your current build instead.
Specify:
CPU, CPU cooler, Motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU, PSU, Chassis, OS, Monitor.
Also mention the age of your PSU, its make and model, and the BIOS version for your board.
If your PSU is low quality, it might just cover up bigger issues in your setup.
If you own a card that’s been heavily used for mining, it’s likely outdated and should be replaced.

Redragon is the manufacturer of this device, and 500W is its claimed power output. What model is this? If you own a RGPS 500W unit, please replace it right away.

Additionally, users who had an RX 580 were recommended to upgrade to a more stable 550W to 650W model.
