Consider attempting to boot from a USB drive with an Ubuntu installation to verify the video functionality. This would help eliminate any issues related to a Windows setup.

Attempted system restore again, but it failed as well. The cloud version didn't work even when using an ethernet cable, and the other one triggered an error. I'm considering booting from the flash drive next; are there any other troubleshooting steps I should try at this point?
