I assembled this PC and it powers on for about five seconds before shutting off again, then the fans start up but everything fails to appear on the screen. My components are the Ryzen 5600X (the one I used), a new RTX 3060 12GB, Gigabyte Gaming X V2 (also new). I encountered problems with the fans not starting at first during setup, so I swapped out the CMOS battery and put it back in. Could this be the cause? I’ve also re-seated the RAM and GPU, but I’m still unsure what might be wrong. Please help me.

it doesn’t work for me, I don’t have a windows key, so I’m planning to use a usb drive to download windows and activate it later.

Do you know if a cable works with a monitor? Have you checked all the video outputs on the GPU? It might help to test it on another PC. What kind of power supply are you using—what is the model or make? Please let me know about Windows settings, I’m okay with that.

verified every link within the computer? Another idea is a faulty power cord, though I wouldn't suspect it on a fresh PSU.

I've verified all connections, but would the CPU be responsible for this problem?

Before Windows is set up, things are limited. Still, it’s better than nothing.
You must install Windows first for it to proceed.
