I placed it in the first available slot near the CPU, which is an X16, but I haven’t tried it yet—I’ll give it a shot. Testing another GPU would also be challenging since I don’t have free access to one.

Do you know someone who could exchange a GPU or evaluate its performance on their device?

unfortunately i don't even have a friend i could ask for help with this, i'm completely on my own for about 13 years. with great regret. that's why i'm searching for a solution online, since the real experts and helpful people are active there.

I tried the card in another slot and the problem still exists.
somewhere I read that this issue might be linked to the chipset driver or a BIOS update, and it hasn’t changed since then.
I reinstated the chipset drivers and BIOS settings like 4G Decoding and Resizable BAR, but they didn’t resolve it.
there’s also a chance of incompatibility with the motherboard, though if that were true, the Arc GPU wouldn’t have worked at all.
it looks like some BIOS or system setting has been altered, but I haven’t managed to find or pinpoint it yet.
