The price gap isn't justified. A similar model could be purchased for 12,700k with eight cores and no performance drops.

All of you are facing chip issues, my Raptor Lake is over two years old and it's fine. By the way, I haven't come across any reports about degradation with the 13400 or 14400 chips. Intel has extended the warranty to five years, so in five years many people will upgrade anyway. If I were building a budget PC for the best value, I wouldn't hesitate to use Intel Gen 13/14, particularly the lower models.
