So this noise began last week. Keep it quiet, Dark Rock Pro 4. ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 OC Edition GPU. I caught the sound and recorded a sample. The PC wasn’t under heavy use, just normal activities like browsing.
I removed the graphics card, powered on the PC, and noticed the noise disappeared. It seems the PC was off for about 10 to 15 minutes before I turned it back on. I wondered if the GPU or the cooler was responsible. I thought about the fan inside the cooler.
After reseating the graphics card, there’s been no sound since this morning. I turned the PC off for a few minutes, then back on, and the noise stopped again—no return. It might come back, but what do you think? Is it the GPU or the cooler? I’m trying to narrow it down with some elimination, but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
You could use an A4 sheet, roll it into a cylinder, and place one end near your ear while holding the other to detect the sound source.

If you suspect it's the cooler's fans, remove them one by one, run the cooler with a single fan, and check if the sound is localized to that component.
