backstory: gamdias talos e3 case, three argb fans linked to a hub that supports syncing with the motherboard, includes an RGB effect button built into the case. Previously used signal rgb, reinstalled Windows, tried signalrgb and opened RGBA (Gigabyte RGB Fusion), but it broke the RGB functionality. After a random restart, the RGB remained stuck on one color—usually white. The case’s RGB button doesn’t work, sync fails, and the device stays locked at white.
current status: occasionally when I power off and restart, the lights switch on and off smoothly. It syncs with sRGB, the case color change button functions, and all effects are present. However, most of the time it becomes stuck in a single color, and nothing else works. Random restarts sometimes fix it, but subsequent ones break again, creating a loop.
Gigabyte B550m DS3H, Windows 11, all drivers updated.
update: i disconnected the argb cable for the case fans from my motherboard. it does not get stuck on white anymore, 80% of the time when I boot, there's no rgb, no lights. Case rgb control button doesn't work. In the 20% of the time, everything works perfectly fine and I can sync rgb with my motherboard after connecting the argb cable back too. But restarting breaks it again. if argb cable is connected with the motherboard, restarting pc gives white fans like before, and chances of rgb fixing is low. And if argb header is connected, there's no lights, and chances of argb fixing is higher
