I use a 3070Ti with the identical PSU, only the gold rating differs from the platinum one. During gaming it draws roughly 300-450W, and my CPU might consume more (like a 12700K). The two GPUs are fairly similar, and the 4070Ti appears to operate below its expected power level, so it should function fine. You don’t need a new PSU and 1000W is unnecessary. Also, according to BeQuiet!, the PSU can safely handle up to 820W briefly to guard against spikes.

I examined all the different viewpoints, calculations, and ideas, but I’m not sure what to believe anymore.
I checked precisely how much power the current setup uses.
I purchased a digital wattmeter connected only via the central unit.
Here are the findings:
Idle on windows: 65W.
Writing this message with multiple tabs open in Chrome: 90W.
Playing Cyberpunk 2077 (Ray tracing: Ultra, DLSS: Off): 250W.
3DMARK Time Spy: Maximum 285W.
Taking the highest numbers into account: 285W minus 165W (RTX260) plus 350W (RTX4070TI) equals 470W.
In this scenario, the PSU would operate at its peak capacity of 66%. A 34% buffer seems quite significant.

For additional details I rely on 7900x and 4070TI while gaming I draw 510 watts. Including overhead for spikes, and planning for future upgrades is beneficial. If you can't manage the 1000 watt requirement, I prefer having the direct connect cables to the 4070TI from the corsair.

The manual was created before the 16 pin connector was introduced. It is designed for plug-and-play operation and works with the 4000 series cards.
https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categ...0-...CP-8920284
This is what the team at MC uses on their 4090s at home, and I'm using it with my 4070.

I discovered a matching 12VHPWR Adapter Cable from be quiet!
The details indicate it fits the Straight Power 11 series ≥ 750W model I own.
In short:
I plan to purchase a card (4070TI) and a cable.
For now, I'll keep using the existing PSU.
I will configure the wattmeter to cut power if the device draws over 700W.
If this occurs or if performance problems arise, I'll opt for a more powerful beQuiet model.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions and feedback. Your input has helped ease many of my concerns and expanded my knowledge.
