Some remarks before the question.
1. My monitor has a resolution of 1440 with 240hz, not 4K.
2. My CPU is the AMD 7800X3D.
I have a chance to upgrade my 4090FE to a 5090FE. But I'm not using a 4K display, and I don't own an AMD 9800X3D. So, I think I won't experience a major performance boost with what I currently have. The only option would be to upgrade to a newer CPU and monitor in the future. Does this make sense?

It seems accurate, the RTX5090 functions better as a 4K gaming card, yet it should still perform well alongside the 7800X3D. The discussion has been shifted to the Systems section from the PC Gaming section.
