Hello, I recently upgraded from a 1050 TI to a 4060. After installation, the system shows as connected, but the GeForce app indicates zero watts. The fans run when the PC starts up but then cease afterward. I've tested several solutions including changing the PCIe cable, adjusting BIOS settings, updating the BIOS, using a different motherboard slot, and switching ports in my new 850W power supply. Is there anything further I should try to resolve this problem, or could it be a faulty graphics card?

I’ve just upgraded from a 1050 TI to a 4060. Did you remove all GPU drivers (intel, AMD, Nvidia) using DDU in Safe Mode and then manually installed the latest driver from Nvidia’s support site with an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator? Also, what is your motherboard’s BIOS version?

I didn't remove anything, just changed the GPU settings. I'm not very familiar with this stuff, so I thought it would be fine. How can I locate my BIOS version?

I just removed the drivers and restarted the computer. The fans were only spinning during startup. After reinstalling, the fans stopped and the GeForce app reported 0 watts.
