It seems you're wondering if the RX 7800 XT with 16GB was overlooked in a previous configuration.

Could you use the SN850X as your SSD? How much would performance improve compared to the 970 Evo Plus? The extra $30 seems reasonable for a better drive.

the pc case comes in a black model, but pcpartpicker doesn't display the price for it. it's just three dollars higher, but that's fine.

970 Evo Plus is a PCI-E 3.0 drive, SN850X is a PCI-E 4.0 drive, which means performance-wise (read/write), the WD drive performs better.
Comparison link: https://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compa...
I recommend choosing a PC case that you personally prefer, as you'll be using it daily, rather than making decisions based on others.
It's considered disrespectful when someone changes your PC case without explaining their reasons clearly.
And I don't think a better GPU in the build suggestion is a valid reason to avoid the purchase.
Looking at the Monotech Air 903 Max design, these options would have been suitable alternatives (and more affordable than what Why_Me mentioned).

The OP has a $1200 budget which is why I altered the case.

Sure, I tried my best to rephrase it while keeping the same meaning and tone.

I’ll keep an eye on things. From what I’ve noticed, the 6800xt is about the same as the 7800xt. Yesterday I found a deal on Newegg for an rx 6800xt for $439.99.
I’m confident in the Thermalright peerless assassin 120 se. It’s a big investment for just $35, but it’s pretty straightforward to set up. A long magnetic screwdriver would be helpful.
My setup maintains my 12600kf around 60 under full cinebench load and stays stable during Intel burn tests.

So is this the final configuration? Or should I move to the 6800 XT for a cheaper option than the 7800 XT? I also like this case.
