I'm assembling a PC with a $1000 budget and checking compatibility for these components. General advice applies here. Thank you.

Compatible? Yes.
Your power supply is poor. Think about this model instead:

Avoid the A620 chipset. Lower-end boards aren't very upgrade-friendly. Don't focus much on BIOS updates, etc.
B650 or B650e are the typical pick for a basic gaming setup.
X670 or X670e if you expect a lot of I/O and expansion needs.

A bit pricier yet it should provide better durability. The PSU or the be quiet! model suggested by COLGeek is functional for future upgrades. A 320W GPU isn’t something you should force into a weak power supply.

Your PSU won't handle the task.
The 3080 card is a high-performance model requiring a minimum of 750w:

Compatibility is fine, but not ideal. Have you mentioned 3080 already? I wouldn't be purchasing one right now. A 10gb drive will likely degrade quickly. The motherboard won't support future upgrades well due to its weak power delivery setup. The PSU looks subpar. Apparently, the P3 plus is a dramless QLC drive. The RAM runs a bit slower for AM5. The case has poor airflow and is similar to the QL500.

In short, it's a waste of $1k.

I've reviewed everything in this thread and created a new list. Please share your thoughts.
Also, I don't currently own the 3080; it seems to be the top choice for my budget. Let me know if you have any other opinions.

I own a Thermaltake Versa – it’s quite disappointing. It’s a cheap build with no cable management and all the usual shortcomings.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/M2dj9c
I kept the Crucial P3 Plus from your previous picks, and added a bit more to the case and power supply.
If I had the chance, I’d really advise moving away from a 10 gig 3080 – you won’t get much benefit from ray tracing at higher settings, even with DLSS. These features demand more VRAM than simple rastering, and ray tracing isn’t worth it below a certain budget, which is around $600 US right now. Plus, Nvidia still leaves you with a limited VRAM buffer.
If a 12 gig 3080 becomes available, it would really help in the long term. Otherwise, consider getting a 7800XT – it’s a reliable card that lasts for many uses.

$440 RTX 4060 TI 16GB
$420 I believe the 3080 offers a decent alternative since it outperforms the 4060Ti in ray tracing for similar prices.
$7800XT costs around $480 and matches the RTX 4070 at about $530.
$7900 GRE is priced at $540, which is a solid option.
For general use, the 4070 Super is worth considering but it’s currently $590.

Increase your budget to $1500 and you’ll have fewer compromises. This is the only option for achieving solid RT performance. The 4060 GPUs are insufficient; opt for a 4070 Super or 4070 Ti, which begin around $600 and rise from there.

Reminder - The power supply remains the same; it offers more power than necessary but is a dependable choice for future RT upgrades.
