the test doesn't make sense because it mentions the same topic twice, so i'm guessing your gaming laptop keyboard is also 1000hz?
The tests could suggest that the keyboard's polling rate isn't the main issue, perhaps even unimportant. The delays might stem from other parts or external factors, including human influence. The recorded speeds came from a Logi K540 wireless keyboard, which I'm using despite having old arthritis in my fingers. The scans captured a range from 12 to 43 Hz, with an average of 84 ms and varied response times. It's unlikely I can type significantly faster than what the keyboard can manage. Still, I'll consult the gaming community for insights on any relevant advantages or specific polling rates.

In my situation it doesn't really matter how quickly my keyboard responses are sent to the PC.
I'm just slow (too slow) in comparison.
