Question WTA Armaggeddon PSU Voltron 850 watt
I have used this power supply armaggeddon voltron platinum 850W.
My specifications are:
asrock b760M Pro ddr 5
ram team groups ddr 5 16 gb
case MSI MAG 122R 4 fan
2 fan deepcool
cooler deepcool AK 400
GPU Rtx 4060 gigabyte
NVME 1 tb team groups
just wanted to ask why many users told me to change my PSU when posting to the forum.
Is this PSU really bad or is there something about this PSU I don’t know?
If I just want to switch to MSI MAG 750GL atx 3.0 PCIE 5, that’s all I need.
I finished building my PC about a week ago.
Sorry if my English isn’t clear.
It seems this power supply is quite problematic? Or is there a specific reason you're looking for? Many thank you.
Armaggeeddon PSU's should be swapped right away on the list! The main issue is that only a handful of professionally tested units have passed all checks, including voltage stability and ripple performance.
Upgrade to a 650 Watt PSU, EVGA PSU, or similar popular options.
i am also very aware that this is

MSI is trustworthy, though not consistently dependable. New Corsair and other models work well. The 650 watts specification is solid. This power level can last several years, but upgrading may be necessary for high-end GPUs like Nvidia XX70 or above, or for combinations such as RX X800 with RTX 4070, RX 7800 XT, etc.
