I have bought an I5 12600kf and MSIs Pro Z690-A Wifi DDR4. Power comes from an Be Quiet... * that guy's PSU even weirder than mine On this youtube at 3:20 the guy also sais "not needed right now", not being concerned whether if there is a problem plugging into the 2nd slot or not View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rucfmsGjPow
Got another thread that confirms my other findings, except nobody defines what is "heavy overclocking" in Watts. To me even the factory default of going from 3.2 Ghz to 5.1 Ghz is pretty heavy, a 59% overclock. On the other hand I've googled OCs up to 100% hmmm CPU1 / CPU2 both 8 Pin connectors on Mainboard Hello dear community, I have a for me very confusing problem, I build several pcs in the past, but never encountered this. Maybe because I havent build one for at least 6-7 years, seems like I forgot a lot

In simple terms, you don't really need assistance here. The posters are volunteers and owe you nothing. If you waste their time, they'll leave to assist someone more eager to cooperate. No one can view your system, so they depend on you to supply all the details, including images. If you refuse to collaborate, this thread will be closed. Unless you choose to work with those trying to help you. The decision is yours.
Your second issue involves the CPU cable which is an 8pin and a 4+4pin power connection on the same cable. When the 4+4 is assembled properly, it matches the pinout of the 8pin, allowing you to use both connectors interchangeably on your board without any problems. Using incorrect connectors, such as plugging a PCIe slot into the CPU or vice versa, can cause issues. You have two CPU cables—one with a single connector and another with two connectors (either 8+4 or 8+8)—but this is due to the PSU only supporting one CPU power connector.
It could be beneficial to bring your rig to a friend's place or a nearby computer store.
Linking an ATX PSU to a motherboard takes about five minutes (shorter if it's fully modular), but mistakes can cause serious problems.
Avoid wasting time and seek assistance from locals.
