Question Weird check pattern while browsing?
I'm not certain if this is related to a GPU problem. I recently purchased a used 1650 Super along with some used 16GB RAM after both my GPU and RAM failed during a power outage. Now, while browsing the internet, I frequently encounter this check pattern at random areas of the screen while using any website. It doesn't occur in games or applications either. It was very hard to capture it clearly because it disappears after a split second, but it stops when I enable instant replay. I took a photo with my phone.

I've tried:
- Using a different browser
- Running the Nvidia GPU cleanup tool and reinstalling the driver
Any thoughts on what this might be?
My specifications are:
Mobo: Gigabyte H110-M
CPU: i3-7100
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1650 Super (used)
RAM: Ripjaws 8GB x 2 (used)
Solution:
chrome://flags/ in the address bar
Search for "Angle" and switch dx11 to OpenGL or dx11ondx12
It seems like a common issue with Chromium browsers and Nvidia cards.
I experience this problem occasionally with Edge as well. Turning off hardware acceleration seems to help, though it means relying on the CPU for webpage rendering.
It disappears after disabling hardware acceleration, it applies only to Chromium applications because it doesn't occur in Firefox.
I resolved it by following these steps:
chrome://flags/ on the address bar

Cool, thanks, I changed that setting (edge://flags for Edge users). It didn't happen very often for me and didn't really bother me, but it won't hurt to try it out anyway.
Edit: I got checkered patterns more frequently with D3D11on12, so I tried changing it to D3D9. No checkered patterns so far.
