I increased my 9900k to 5ghz and temperatures stayed stable during idle and full stress, but dropped to 4.5-4.7 when running Warzone. Someone has a suggestion? (I own an MSI z390 MEG ACE)

The temperatures are favorable at 45-55 and 75-90 watts.

I believe the issue lies with the software, as the high-end Z390 MSI Meg Ace OC is stable.

Google's findings were unclear, yet it seems COD warzone might use avx, which could lead to the CPU slowing down due to AVX offset.

Run HWiNFO64 with sensors only, logging on, in the background while you play. Keep it running for at least 30 minutes. Share the log file somewhere accessible. Consider doing a Userbenchmark and posting the results too.
