Tried the Game Boost on my MS-7B45, turned it on after booting up the PC, but decided it wasn't worth it due to the fan noise. Eventually, I powered it off. Despite that, the fans were still running at the same speeds, and the windows showed the Intel Core i7-8700K running at 4.4Ghz. I went back into the BIOS and set it to return to default optimized settings, but the issue persisted. What should I do next?

Try accessing the advanced motherboard configurations and locate the fan speed controls. As long as your fans are connected to the motherboard, you should be able to adjust them to either activate or reduce their speed.
