Hi
I’m thinking about switching to an ARM laptop, but I’m worried about support and compatibility. Are apps like Cubase Pro, Ableton Live and Trackmania United Forever still working well on ARM devices? I’ve read that Trackmania runs fine natively, though I’m still curious about Cubase and Ableton. Do you think it’s too early for ARM right now?

there are some issues with emulation, certain things may not work. you should test it yourself. there isn't enough information to confirm this. you can try testing it in the shop too; just save the installers on a usb stick to reduce download time in stores.

I see potential benefits from an ARM laptop that could reduce compatibility issues. The actual improvements in battery life and system costs are worth considering. You should look for concrete proof that real-time applications function smoothly.

It's great for longer battery life, though that wasn't my main priority. What really draws me in are its efficiency, light weight, and low heat plus quiet fan operation. Plus, ARM technology is the direction of the future.

even though there was a lot of excitement, the latest Snapdragon laptops turned out to be more average rather than outstanding? you should review their feedback alongside the new Ryzen 9 HX 370 models before making a choice. once Linux support improves for these devices, it might also become a more suitable alternative on ARM platforms compared to Windows.
