Question Third SSD failed, Windows 10 continues to corrupt?
Over the last few months, I've had to swap out two SSDs because of endless repair cycles in Windows and even after reinstalling the operating system, the SSD would eventually fail. Could this be the cause?
I've observed that when the PC is under heavy load—like having many Google Chrome windows open at once or switching between tabs while playing a video game—I experience a BSOD followed by an endless repair loop, which often results in SSD failure.
Despite these issues, my HDD has remained unaffected.
System specs:
GPU - GTX 1060 6GB
CPU - Intel I5-3570K
RAM - Silicon Power 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1600MHz
SSD - Western Digital 500GB
Previous SSD models - Samsung 870 EVO and Samsung 860 EVO
Windows version - Windows 10 Education 19045.3324
Memory - ASUS P8z77-V LE PLUS
