I've looked through this forum and others, but haven't found a fix. I assembled my PC about a year ago. The power button on the case keeps having problems—sometimes it won’t turn on at first, but after a quick tap on the side, it works again. Now it just stops working completely. I’ve inspected every connection I can find, except for the one that connects to the physical power button. The motherboard and PSU are getting power normally. What suggestions do you have?

reach out to ASUS support about the problem with the case. They should provide options like a replacement button, I/O panel, or a new case.

Ensure the front panel header wires are firmly attached to the motherboard front panel header. Inspect the wires for damage and confirm they are properly connected to the front panel button. You might find an RMA replacement from ASUS for the front panel, though it's not recommended. As a substitute, consider purchasing a front panel power button extender using the provided link.

The links to the MB front panel were my initial focus. Fortunately, I can easily reach them. However, there was no success there. The front panel on this case appears to be permanently connected and not removable. I’ll need to reach out to ASUS next, though I was hoping to skip that since I anticipate needing to relocate everything to a different case due to health concerns. This extender might serve as a temporary solution in the meantime. Thanks for your assistance everyone.
