I prefer keeping my games on a different drive for easier management. I use an SSD for my operating system and two additional SSDs for storage, with a Steam library on each. When I need to reinstall, I just format the main drive, restart Steam, and when it asks to install the games, I point them to the secondary drive folder. It usually finds the files and checks them without requiring another download.

STATUS UPDATE: I just installed a new version of Windows, but the issue persists. I’m 100% confident it’s related to RAM, or at least I’m hoping so since I don’t know what else might be causing this.
