Question Strange shifting squares appear just while playing CSGO
Question Strange shifting squares appear just while playing CSGO
I am having an issue with playing Counterstrike: Global Offensive. Any time I load the game, I get flashing rectangles in a checkerboard pattern across my screen. I tried reinstalling drivers, changing graphics settings, validating steam files, etc. This is not happening in any other game (I am playing Cyberpunk on Ultra settings right now with no issue). Here is what the screen looks like when I load into the game:

Has anyone else experienced this issue/know what the problem is?
Specs
Processor: Intel i7-9700F 3.00GHz
16 GB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA 2060 Super
It's an IBUYPOWER prebuilt PC
I attempted to turn off overlays and reinstall the game, but the problem continued.
I followed these instructions:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforc...ei...n-monitor/
After rebooting and reinstalling, the issue remained.
I reviewed my resource monitor and GPU memory usage, which stayed low (0.8/8GB) during gameplay. The only temporary fix was adjusting NVCP settings, setting the preview to "Use my preference emphasizing" for full performance.
The issue is now sporadic but no longer constant. During my online searches, I couldn’t find anyone else reporting the same problem. I’m hoping it’s not a GPU issue, as it’s a brand new prebuilt unit.
Have you experimented with adjusting the graphics and resolution settings? Also, which port do you employ to link the monitor with the computer?
I recommend downloading msi after burner and consider slightly reducing the VRAM.
