I'm using NvidiaInspector to downclock the card because the memory is failing and everything crashes at stock speeds.
The default memory frequency is 1250 MHZ.
The strange behavior is that when I set the memory speed in the two most performance-focused power modes to about 1050mhz, nvinspector shows a current memory speed of 1103MHZ (a value that still causes artifacts).
If I lower it further to around 1000Mhz or less, nvinspector reports a memory speed of 324MHZ (the third power mode setting), which makes everything much slower.
Why these numbers? Does the card have built-in memory speed modes? Shouldn't it show something closer to 1000MHZ or 1050MHZ as the current speed?
I'm not sure if I explained clearly enough, and I'll add pictures if needed.
Thanks in advance.
