Question Strange issues and slow performance on my new computer.
Question Strange issues and slow performance on my new computer.
Hello,
I recently purchased a new PC with the specifications listed below, but I've been facing performance issues in games.
This means lower frame rates than expected, frequent latency spikes, FPS drops, and generally an unsmooth or delayed experience when multiple actions occur simultaneously in the game.
It seems to affect CPU-intensive titles the most.
Additionally, I sometimes encounter a bluescreen with the error: "unexpected kernel mode trap after a restart." I’m unsure if this is related to the underperformance but thought it might be useful to note for troubleshooting.
I’ve attempted various solutions from forums and tutorials, such as EXM tweaks on YouTube and Khorvietech videos.
My actions included overclocking, using ddu and NVIDIA cleanstall drivers, running multiple optimization tools, performing a factory reset, reinstalling Windows, debloating software, adjusting Windows and NVIDIA settings, using XMP profiles, ensuring proper BIOS configuration, connecting a dedicated GPU, updating drivers, and even trying a fresh Windows 11 installation.
My current temperatures are within normal ranges, and both CPU and GPU usage remain low since I don’t play highly demanding games.
I realize I might have missed something important in this post, so if you’re willing to assist, please share more details and I’ll address them.
Could someone with experience help resolve this issue? Thank you for reading.
