Question: Spilled coffee on PC, now GC-WBAX1200 won't function
Similar to before, Said spilled coffee on his PC. He shut everything down right away and removed the graphics card. While taking it out, he pulled off the plastic cover from the PCIe x16 slot due to panic. He placed the GPU in the x4 slot, which restored the PC's operation. He also unplugged the WiFi card (though it didn’t get coffee, he still took it out during the rush) and now the Wi-Fi isn’t working, but Bluetooth is functional. The WiFi card is in the PCIe 1 slot. His main concern is whether this issue can be fixed and how much it affected performance since switching from x16 to x4.
This motherboard features one PCI Express x16 slot operating at x4 speed (PCIEX4).
The PCIEX4 port uses its bandwidth with every PCI Express x1 slot. Installing a PCIe x4 card will remove access for all x1 slots.
For x8 or higher cards in the PCIEX4 slot, configure the PCIe Slot Configuration in BIOS to x4.
