speccy mentioned my motherboard is running at 96c, but when I use a normal desk fan blowing on it, it drops to 91c. However, if I run a similar setup (re:run by dani on YouTube), the PC restarts itself without a BSOD and then turns back on. Please help me avoid wasting all my money on this setup.

Your issue is probably due to high VRM temperatures on your motherboard, leading to overheating. Since I don't know the specific model, I can only recommend cleaning the entire PC to eliminate dust and ensuring all fans operate properly. Lowering the temperature is essential.

I understand which BIOS key to press in 2013 for entry, such as F2 or Delete. Your old PC's motherboard temperature is normal, and it doesn't seem to have a VRM cooler.
