Is it possible to take a screenshot in safe mode? I have tried the Print Screen key and the Snipping Tool, but neither seem to work in Safe Mode. Any help welcome, thank you.

Yes, using windows(key)+shift+S creates the shortcut on the keyboard. Hold the left mouse button, move the box over your desired spot, and release the mouse click. Alternatively, you can press the Print Screen key instead.

I attempted the Print Screen key, but it didn't work. Pressing it normally opens the Snipping Tool. I'll consider other options.

Hello, I attempted the 'Windows(key)+shift+S is the shortcut on the keyboard' idea. It didn't function properly, no box appeared. It does operate in regular mode to launch Snipping Tool, but I'm looking for a solution that works in Safe Mode.

Did you attempt pasting after using the print screen button? The previous method involved simply copying the image to the clipboard. I use MS Paint for gathering and editing content.

I haven't tested the snipping tool in Safe Mode, unsure if it would function properly. If it doesn't, a third-party screenshot tool might be necessary.
