I've never overclocked before and have noticed my game performance dropping to low FPS on my new 2k 144hz monitor. I attempted to overclock but didn't see any improvement. Using the Valley Benchmark 1.0 didn't increase my FPS. The temperature stayed normal and no visual issues appeared. Suddenly, my monitor went black and lost signal. After restarting, everything worked again. I tried gradually increasing the core clock, but my mouse became very slow. It's unclear what caused this since my PC seems capable of handling more.

Any significant core overclocking must also involve higher voltage.
