Question Satellite connected to a computer
Question Satellite connected to a computer
Do you believe it would be realistic to use the raptor satellite camera through a computer or phone? I find the concept interesting, though it comes with its own challenges. The benefit is gaining a unique perspective on the world, avoiding reliance on others while maintaining privacy and confidentiality, which can be harder to manage. What are your thoughts? Is this a feasible idea?
Theoretically, yes. It relies on your specific plan for interacting with the satellite and whether those interactions are accessible publicly.
You might consider a similar setup like this one (ground-based, same idea): Webcams | ESO
ESO, European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere

It's interesting to note how accessible this information is now. I can confidently say that, up until now, it hasn't been available, though it seems unlikely anyone could have predicted the widespread use of smartphones with drones.
This is spot on. Without a "ride", there isn't a use case.
For the OP, thus the "theoretically' earlier.
Depending on how high one wants to go
