Just observed that the flare X5 is a 6000mhz CL36 model. Please check for the CL30 kit.

Hello, here is the response from Noctua. Their cooler is positioned below the RAM slots since it's compact. The NH-U12S provides full RAM clearance and works with any RAM modules you have. The colored rectangles in the image indicate the socket areas—regions around the socket where other components can't be installed. This means the cooler fits most motherboards because of its small footprint. The socket area doesn't influence RAM compatibility directly. I'm sorry the picture gave a misleading impression.
