Question Resident Evil 5 - Will not play
Hello, I came across a previous message on this forum that got closed because the game was downloaded illegally. I’m facing the same problem with my copy, which is genuine and purchased from Steam today. I can show proof that it was bought if that’s the concern. Still, I’m struggling to fix the game and the error when launching the DirectX 9 version of Resident Evil 5 is:

I’ve put in a lot of effort to resolve this, but no one seems to have any advice. Additionally, the GFWL section is confusing me and causing network issues as well.
