Hello there, I have a query about boosting performance. Currently I'm around 50-150 fps in Minecraft, and I aim for over 200 fps. If I increase the CPU speed, would that raise my frame rate? Or should I focus on upgrading the GPU instead? I have an i5-8300H with 8GB RAM and a GTX1050 Dell G3. If you have any advice, please let me know so I can improve my gaming experience.

Hello, ramanadam8. Here is your question: If I wanted to boost performance in Minecraft, should I focus on overclocking the CPU or GPU? I have an i5-8300h with 8GB RAM and a GTX 1050. Currently, I only achieve 50-150 FPS, and I need more than 300. Could you assist me?

Checking a laptop's temperature while gaming is tricky because managing heat can be difficult, even for a gaming computer. How warm are your CPU and GPU during gameplay?

Not too warm since I mostly play Minecraft and Fortnite from time to time.

The actual temperatures during idle and under load for both the CPU and GPU aren't what you might expect.
