I've assembled a fresh build and am installing a red CPU with orange dram in the debug area. The BIOS was updated to the latest version, CMOS reset, RAM re-sat, then booted with one stick. After waiting 10-15 minutes, I left it running bare-bones—just CPU and cooler. I've tried everything I could think of, but the red CPU and orange dram remain in the debug area.

I've looked through articles, watched YouTube tutorials, but nothing has worked before. I don't have another DDR5 or AM5 CPU to test since this was a new build from an older AM4/DDR4 setup. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Current specs: Ryzen 7 9800X3D, MSDI Mag Tomahawk B650, 32GB GSKILL DDR5, Liquid Freezer 3 Pro 360 AIO, Lian Li 216, Thermaltake ToughPower GF1 850W. I'm using my RX 6700X as it's not within my budget to upgrade.

Are you sure you flashed the BIOS before installing the CPU into the socket? If not, refer to this guide:

and check if it assists.
Are the RAM slots A2 and B2 being filled? Did you check the CPU socket for any bent or damaged pins?

RAM available in A2 and B2 only. The CPU was placed before the BIOS flash. Should I take it out and attempt again?
