Question Red cpu and dram light after updating gpu drivers via armoury crate
Noob to PCs has started working on my first build. After a game armoury crate reported my GPU driver was outdated, I proceeded with the update. Now my red CPU light and orange drama light are lit. Windows won’t boot normally; I only see a black screen unless I enter BIOS. I’m unsure how to fix this or begin troubleshooting.
Can you start the computer in Safe Mode by restarting and holding the left SHIFT key until you see Advanced Startup options?
If yes, obtain DDU from another device, run it in Safe Mode, and remove any drivers linked to a GPU. After that, download and install the newest AMD Adrenaline drivers directly from their site by going to the provided link.
The system starts up properly under Windows but continues to display error indicators.
