Hello everyone,
I’m facing unexpected restarts on my newly assembled computer. It occurs during both gaming sessions and when the PC is idle.
The temperature readings are normal. In games, the GPU runs at 65-68°C and the CPU at 60-66°C.
No minidump file appears, and there’s no BSOD displayed.
The Event Viewer displays a Kernel-Power 41 error code.
Resets happen at completely random intervals. One day it didn’t reset at all; the next day it reset twice every ten minutes. Today it has reset 6 to 7 times.

System Specifications:
- Motherboard: Asus tuf gaming 650-e wifi
- CPU: 7500f
- GPU: MSI 5060 TI 16 GB Shadow 2x
- RAM: 2x16 GB Corsair Vengeance 6400mhz
- Power Supply: MSi MPG A850g Gold
- Cooler: Thermalright Burst Assassin 120
- SSD: Samsung 990 pro

Steps I’ve tried for troubleshooting:
I tested the PC using various power outlets and cables. The issue remains unchanged.
Memtest86 was executed on the RAM at both base speed (4800 MHz) and with EXPO profile enabled (6000 MHz). No errors detected.
OCCT Power Test revealed no problems.
Temperature readings are within normal ranges, and voltage rails (3V, 5V, 12V) are stable. CPU max temperature 75°C, GPU max 72°C.
Cinebench scores were expected and temperatures stayed consistent.
OCCT CPU, RAM, and GPU tests completed without issues; all temps normal.
3DMark tests finished successfully, with strong results and a 99% pass rate.
SSD SMART checks and OCCT storage tests also passed.
BIOS is updated, chipset drivers are current, and Windows is up-to-date.

I reinstalled the system from scratch (clean format). Graphics card drivers are up to date.
I disassembled and reassembled all components. The problem persists despite these efforts.
I also tested with a different power supply, but random resets continued.

What should I do next?

I made changes to bios three days ago. Yes, I reset the CMOS. I faced similar issues before the bios update as well. The update didn't alter anything.

Would you like me to attempt disabling the Asus Armoury Crate app? I've experienced some unusual problems with it being installed.

Did you ensure the right connectors were used when replacing the PSUs? Swapping them with identical cables could yield similar outcomes. Based on your testing so far, it seems likely.

Absolutely, I'm in the same boat. It's so complicated and causes issues where it shouldn't. Maybe that's why.

I spent an hour playing God of War and everything seemed fine. Then I switched tabs to desktop and the computer restarted immediately.

I believe it is set up through the BIOS automatically.
You turn it off there.
