It seems lowering the CPU clock speed to 4700 MHz instead of the original 4800 resolves the issue. After playing for 12 hours without any crashes, it worked.

If it requires a downclocking from the stock frequency, I would consider an RMA. It should function stably at the stock setting, but I also wanted to know if you checked the temperature while using the original clock speed.

Temperatures dropped after lowering voltage to 1.275 volts
Maximum temperature fell from 86°C to 67-70°C

We discussed with AMD and they mentioned that for an RMA, proof of purchase is required, which I don’t possess.

So yours seems to be a grey market product? Typically, proof of purchase includes an e-receipt if you buy online from a retailer in person. Did it operate at a consistent stock frequency without any undervoltage? If so, it might just be a faulty lot on the silicon—running undervolted with a lower clock speed is acceptable, but honestly I’d prefer to maintain a stable stock voltage and let it run normally. At 86°C it shouldn’t be a deal-breaker.

I purchased it at Best Buy and discarded the receipt.

It won't work at 4800mhz with 1.275v; I've tested it under load and it crashes my PC each time. The recommended voltage for the Ryzen 7 5800X is 1.4v.

I mean if it runs stable at 1.4v, if it does, then the CPU is fine, not all CPU can run stable at such hard undervolting, if I runs stable at 1.4V on 4800mhz I wouldn't undervolt so much to let it run stable at 4800, of course if you prefer hard undervolting it's your choice and nothing wrong, just to be sure that undervolting by 100mV and still be perfectly stable isn't common

No, it doesn't work well at 1.4v with 4800mhz (stock). I managed to keep the CPU stable at 4700mhz when running at 1.275v.

When the voltage goes above 1.275v, the computer crashes during exits from applications and games.
