question power on a problem
I just got my new PC and it's a bit confusing. When I turn it on, the RGB lights from the RAM show up but everything else stays dark. If I cut the power supply while it's running and turn it back on, it starts up fine except for that one weird glitch where the RAM lights flicker or stay lit before going off completely.
I don't know what could be causing this so far and I'm looking for some help to fix my setup. Here are my PC specs: Windows 11 Home, a Corsair 7000D case with airflow, a Corsair AIO power supply, an RM1200X shift 80 gold PSU, a Corsair system fans, a Ryzen 9070XT processor, and the 9800X3D. I also have G-Skill 32GB Trident RGB RAM, a WD Black 4GB SSD, an MSI Tomahawk X870E motherboard, and the rest of my other gear is listed in the original message.
Does this look like a fresh start, or have you ever turned it on before? The lights don't actually show if your computer works; they only mean the power is getting enough electricity to make them glow. Are the fans spinning?
