Question Please help, PC Crashing for no reason
Hello, I own a PC that has been experiencing frequent crashes even after replacing all internal components except the case. The issue persists consistently, not just during temporary glitches. I sent it to Geeksquad, who tried the test under stress but couldn't reproduce the crash, making diagnosis difficult. I can play demanding games without problems, but it freezes when idle. It tends to shut down abruptly without leaving any error codes. This time it displayed a bluescreen and left a dump file, which is confusing as to whether it indicates the same problem. Still, it’s a helpful clue if anyone can clarify what this file means. I really appreciate your assistance!
Is the unstable power coming from a UPS or surge suppressor? It seems the electrical instability might be causing this problem, as it functioned properly at one location but not at home.
