Question PC Startup and Crashes Prior to Reset
The PC functioned properly during the night shutdown, resumed operation this morning, and when I began a game, it seemed the breaker in the living room had tripped. Attempting to restart, it would shut down before entering POST mode. After rearranging the RAM into DIMM 4, it restarted successfully, moved back to DIMM 2, and resumed operation. It currently runs, but I’m unsure if the issue lies with the RAM or the power supply.
Was die Stromversorgung ein wenig Rauch erzeugt und ein leises Knackgeräusch macht?
When the PC is operating, it's fine, but some people advise replacing it if the PSU fails or emits smoke.
It seems like the main issue might have been with my PC, since the other devices like the TV and Xbox were still working.
I believe you're capable. It's always a good idea to verify it at a professional hardware store, though the expense might be a concern. Remember to keep a backup of your personal information, since you can't predict when your PSU might encounter issues later.
