My PC has been with me for more than six years now. I’ve recently swapped out the PSU and GPU, but it still experiences occasional problems. Recently, it powered on fully without any boot cycle lights or errors on the motherboard. The most unusual thing happened when I tried to troubleshoot: I managed to get it running again by reseating a RAM stick while it was on. It stayed active until I turned it off, but I’m still stuck on getting it to boot properly, even after trying the same steps yesterday. I’ve flashed the BIOS, changed RAM channels, and power-cycled it, but nothing worked. The RGB lighting in both RAM sticks also stopped working, though this isn’t new. Honestly, I don’t recall many details because the machine is quite old, but I’ll share what I remember. Any advice would be really helpful!

Which BIOS version are you currently using?
You may also want to check if swapping out the CMOS battery with a new cell could help. Consider borrowing or not purchasing another RAM kit and see if it improves your posting experience. You should have RAM slots A2 and B2 available.
CMOS might be the latest concern, but regarding past random problems, I remember Ryzens and supporting boards reacting humorously to RAM issues, while some Corsair products seem to trigger strong reactions. I've experienced similar situations with a 1700, a 3600X, and a 5900X, all showing RAM-related glitches that weren't on the board's QVL. After replacing them with kits listed on QVL, everything now works smoothly. It might be worth looking into the Gigabyte board's QVL for DRAM compatible with that processor.
