Hello everyone, thank you for your time and support. I’m facing an issue with my HP Prodesk 600 G2. It’s difficult to adjust the settings without a proper new case. I bought a 500W PSU and watched some YouTube videos suggesting that you can connect an external PSU directly to power the GPU. I installed it with my new RX 580 8GB GPU, which arrived today. I tried connecting everything correctly, starting the secondary PSU, then the main one, but whenever I boot up, the system keeps restarting endlessly. I’m wondering if the problem lies with the GPU or if there are incorrect settings in my configuration. I saw someone else do the same—jumpstarted the secondary GPU, restarted it, then started the main PSU and it worked. My original PC still functions normally. I’m unsure what to do next.

Hello there! It looks like you're just starting out in the forums. You might want to avoid the secondary PSU route because you're not familiar with it. Could you tell me if your HP Prebuilt is a form factor of MT or SFF?
