Question PC frequently powers off despite functioning correctly every two days?
Hey there, I just swapped out my PC's power supply and it functioned well for a few days before suddenly shutting down unpredictably. Each shutdown happens roughly every two days, even during gaming sessions. I've looked at the temperatures and run stress tests, but nothing unusual has been found. What might be causing this problem?
What PSU were you using before, and which one are you switching to now?
The PSU I have now is the updated model, as my old one stopped working. The one before was a standard one included in the case.
Sorry for the incorrect wording of that question. Since the only action you took was changing the PSU, I would verify all your PSU connections again. I’d also reinsert the GPU, as it might have shifted during plugging in or unplugging. Have you seen any critical event alerts in the Event Viewer besides unexpected shutdowns?
