Question PC crashes upon opening Elden Ring only with an internet connection active
As the title indicates, my PC frequently crashes when I launch Elden Ring, but only under internet conditions—both Wi-Fi and Ethernet. This issue previously affected me with League of Legends, yet that one resolved itself. I don’t think it’s a hardware problem because I’ve replaced all components since it began occurring. Even after a recent fresh install of Windows, the problem persists only when opening the game. It seems to happen when attempting to connect to a game server. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

My system hasn’t experienced heavy workloads. The games I play most often—League of Legends and OSRS—are both straightforward to run.
Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system specifics. Mention the power supply specifications: make, model, wattage, age, and condition (original, build, refurbished, used). Note any history of heavy usage for gaming, video editing, or bitmining. Describe the disk drive information including make, model, capacity, and current usage level. Check the Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer for any error codes, warnings, or events preceding the crashes. Share your findings.
My rig hasn't been used very heavily.
My main drive that i use for games (other one is storage) has 500 GB out of 828 so pretty empty.
Now event viewer i struggle to read lmao. There's quite a bit of information.
But there is a 'critical' event that happens every time.
I'm not quite sure what to post but it's ID says 18 and source is "WHEA-logger".
"
Der er opstået en alvorlig hardwarefejl.
Rapporteret af komponent: Processorkerne
Fejlkilde: Machine Check Exception
Fejltype: Bus/Interconnect Error
Processor-APIC-id: 10"
Which is actually different from last time i had this problem where it said something like id number 41 kernel power or something like that.
There's an information log that happens the same second that says something like:
"WLAN AutoConfig-tjenesten er startet." (er started just means "has started")
I don't know if you want me to just copy all 4 events that happen on the crash. 3 of them are information and 1 is a critical failure. It's quite a bit of text lmao.
Thanks for helping
