Question PC Boot into Safe Mode via BIOS Settings
Question PC Boot into Safe Mode via BIOS Settings
Hi everyone,
I’m facing a problem where, after turning off and then turning back on my PC, the fans run at full speed for about 20 seconds. Then the AMI BIOS displays a "posted into safe mode" screen, and I have to press F1 to enter BIOS. Sometimes the PC doesn’t POST at all and remains stuck with the fans spinning at 100% until I turn it off again. I’ve also seen some strange behavior in Chrome, Spotify, and Discord. However, enabling hardware acceleration resolved this issue.
My system details are:
Motherboard: ASUS ROG X670E-A
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (2 x 16GB) DDR5 6000 MHz
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080 Super
PSU: Corsair RM1000e
I’ve tried several solutions so far—BIOS settings, reseating RAM, resetting CMOS, updating BIOS, and reinstalling drivers—but the problem persists.
Appreciate any advice you can offer!
