Hi, today I discovered my PC won't start from the power button, not even on the motherboard pins. The PSU passed the paperclip test, so I suspected a motherboard issue. However, when I tried the paperclip test with the 24 pin inserted, everything worked and the PC turned on from the power button. It functions normally except when it goes into sleep mode, at which point it shuts off completely. I've also noticed the PC sometimes starts after forcing the cable pins and pressing the power button, even though the pins aren't loose. For these reasons, I think the 24 pin cable might be the problem. Please share your thoughts, thanks.

The complete specifications encompass the brand and model details of the power supply unit. Perhaps the PWR OK indicator isn't precise.

That's a really poor power supply. You should get something better from the start.
