Hey everyone,
recently my PC stops working completely when I close Steam games that are running from my external SSD. Everything works normally while playing, but it only fails when the games come from the external SSD on Steam. When I run the same games from another client like GOG or Epic, everything is fine.
The external SATA SSD connects through an A Sabrent SATA to USB3-Connector.
I've already checked the disk, reinstalled Steam, updated drivers, adjusted power settings – nothing fixed the issue.

It's not your problem, it's Steam. It's better to use a local drive.
